Huazhong Shi Awarded Research Grant from USDA

MAY 18 2007 Dr. Huazhong Shi, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, was awarded a $349,143 research grant from USDA National Research Initiative (NRI) Competitive Grants Program. This grant is for three years, starting July 15, 2007. The awarded project is "Characterization and Molecular Identification of sos1 Suppressors in Arabidopsis".
